Innowireless, the parent company of Accuver, acquires Wayties to expand into the V2X market.
Innowireless, the visionary parent company of Accuver,
expands its portfolio by acquiring Wayties, a distinguished specialist in V2X
technology.
Accuver and Wayties, as sister companies, form a
collaborative alliance, strengthening their positions in the automotive sector.
This partnership enhances their capabilities and market influence, especially
with Wayties' expertise in developing V2X standard certification equipment.
Innowireless, a pioneering wireless network solution
company renowned for delivering cutting-edge network testing solutions and
small cells, and notably recognized as the parent company of Accuver, has
successfully acquired Wayties, a globally acknowledged startup specializing in
Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) standard test solutions.
Wayties' flagship test equipment, WCEX-DRTS, is designed
to assess the Basic Safety Message (BSM) processing capabilities of both V2X
On-board Units (OBU) and Road Side Units (RSU). Additionally, their innovative
device, WCEX-CGTS, generates multiple virtual V2X signals, facilitating the
creation of congestion test environments in laboratories or on actual roads.
Notably, it was adopted as the official test equipment in DSRC and C-V2X
(Cellular V2X) performance comparisons conducted by the South Korea's Ministry of Science and
ICT (MSIT) last year.
Innowireless is strategically positioning itself to
extend its business beyond V2X test equipment into the Cooperative Intelligent
Transport Systems (C-ITS) market. This expansion will integrate On-board Units
(OBU), Road Side Units (RSU), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Multi-access
Edge Computing (MEC) technologies, leveraging its wealth of experience in Small
Cell development and collaborative partnerships with key industry players.
